Scavenger Photo-hunt FEBRUARY

Joining in with  Kate at I live, I love, I craft, I am Me

February's words were:-

Heart/s

A charity close to our hearts.
Even more so now as its on all the literature given to us in preparation for DH's heart op next month (fingers crossed it goes ahead this time)

 Repair
One from the archives - DS many years ago.

Send for the AA if your vehicle needs repairing.
He is in fact the owner of a repair/service garage so all that practice paid off

Tail
Another very old one

The cushion says it all .... "In a cats eye, all things belong to a cats"
You can tell a lot from the swish of a cats tail

Key
I bought this card for Valentine's Day for DH a few years ago.
He loved it and asked for the same one each year, so it is recycled each February

When you see a lock ....

there must be a KEY, this one is found inside the envelope

Knot

An exhibition in the museum at Sheringham, Norfolk
Taken on a beach holiday 2017

My own choice

This years amaryllis in flower.
Only two flowers this time?

Visit Kate's blog to see this months link-up and find out what other hunters have found for the words.

Love and blessings

  1. I love your Valentine's card - how sweet to keep it going from year to year ... I wish we were more romantic ... Puss looks set to pounce there - the tail is a definite giveaway
And the best of luck with DHs op.
With apologies if you're getting this comment twice - I'm having difficulties posting comments through my Safari so I'm trying a different browser.

  2. Lovely photos Julie & puss looks so elegant sitting on the chair. The Valentine day could have come under heart too, but the key inside the envelope was a surprise. Quite the story about your DS now having his own repair service, I liked that. All the best for DH's procedure. Take care & huggles.

  3. What lovely photos. I'm in awe of the cat pillow, is that cross stitched by you? The card is beautiful, no wonder your husband wants it everywhere.

    1. The pillow was a gift and the design is woven into the fabric.

  5. What a pretty Valentine's card, it looks really old not like the cards you get these days which are so plain and boring!

  6. Lovely photos, I like what you've come up with for each prompt. How lovely you have that photo of your son, funny that he now has his own repair garage. My amaryllis hasn't flowered yet, it has two buds but they don't look as big as they usually do so perhaps they'll only hold a couple of flowers this time too.

  7. Seeing your Valentine's card brought back tender memories of my parents, Julie... they recycled the same anniversary cards to each other for many, many years. So cute. I enjoyed your photos today :)
